In loving memory of Maryann LeClair

Rylee, Alex, Ron & Sadie miss you dearly.  

We will love you forever.

Maryann was a kind, loving, and loyal person. She is married to Ron LeClair and mother to 2 children, Rylee and Alex, and a dog Mom to Sadie. She was selfless and generous, always taking the time to care for others and ensure that everyone had what they needed. 

Her battle with ALS for 2 years never weakened her loving spirit: she remembered every birthday and anniversary, and always took the time to ask how others were doing, even if it were difficult for her to speak. Maryann was always sharing her own experiences and stories, and had a contagious laugh that brought smiles to all.​

Maryann enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was active and loved to go running with friends, she took the family dog for a walk almost every day. She loved to read and participated in a book club with friends, and enjoyed watching true crime documentaries to discuss with her nieces.

Most of all, she was constantly surrounded with love. She gave her all to her family and friends, always offering a shoulder to lean on. Though her battle with ALS was difficult, she never faced it alone with those who cared for her at her side, giving support to her as she gave to them.

ALS United Connecticut provided resources, equipment, and support to guide Maryann and our family through this long journey. Their support eased many of the burdens we faced and most importantly, gave us hope for a cure. 

In honor of Maryann, we ask you to donate to support other families who are currently fighting this terrible disease. 

Donations made will support funding for equipment to be used by people with ALS and their families, as well as research for a cure.
