Welcome to My Personal Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. This year, all donations to the Walk ALS New Haven will be doubled! I first participated in the ALS Walk in 2015 to support Tim’s colleague who was 31 and had been devastated by ALS. Though ALS is a horrible disease, the organizers ensured that the oceanside walk was fun. Participants ran, walked, and rolled in wheelchairs. There were even well-behaved dogs on leashes.
Two years ago, I started falling while biking and hiking. Over the next year, I met with a slew of expert doctors, including one who told me definitively I didn’t have ALS, and I would get better. Sadly, I continued to get worse.
I was diagnosed with ALS a year ago. My body has severely deteriorated. I can barely move now. Friends and family have been enormously helpful. ALS United Connecticut has been very supportive. They have provided me with equipment, rides, and knowledge! I will roll on October 6th to help fund ALS United Connecticut, so I and others can continue to have access to these great resources.
Please consider supporting my efforts by donating through my fundraising page or registering as a participant and donating or fundraising. Thank you.

PS. The team’s name comes from when I started working on my second textbook. There was a core group of six, and the others all had important work titles, so I decided I would be Chief Butterfly Princess and that is what they called me.
