Greg's Groupies in Spain!

This year Greg's Groupies Team will be made up of one person, ME.  While the ALS walks in CT are happening on September 27th in Hartford, October 5th in New Haven and on October 18th in Westport.
I will be in Spain October 1st through the 20th.  For 10 of those days I will be walking 6 to 15 miles a day on the Camino de Santiago, for a total of 105 miles.  I am doing this walk as a pilgrimage in memory of Greg and to celebrate my life as an octogenarian.  I'm looking to the wisdom of the Camino to find my way forward in my life with the same persistence, courage and humor that Greg brought to his ALS journey.  I am asking my wonderful, supportive friends to once again make a donation to Greg's Groupies if possible.  Greg is gone, but the need for research to find a cure for ALS goes on.

Thank you!  Thank you!

Much love,
Joyce

ABOUT ALS

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.

ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
