Kym Cotton is my sister-in-law. Not only was she married to my brother, we were best friends for forty years. We built our houses together and raised our children together. 
In 2015 Kym was diagnosed with ALS. a horrible devastating disease for which there is no cure. She fought her battle with ALS hard with dignity and courage that could not be surpassed. We did everything we could as a family and tried to fulfill her bucket list. 
We only had nine months together before ALS took her from us. 
Before she died I promised Kym I would never give up hope for a cure and continue to raise funds so that other families would not be devastated like we were.
