Dear Friends and Family,

Last year I joined the Board of Directors of ALS United CT to support and further the mission to provide critical services in Connecticut to those that suffer from ALS. I do so in memory of my friend Jeff Corbett, who we lost to ALS 5 years ago. 

For those not familiar with the disease, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
