On Saturday, October 18th we are walking in memory of someone truly special- Tom Larkin, a man who lived with courage, grace, and unwavering love until the very end.  He was more than just a beloved husband, father, brother and friend, he was a light in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

 

ALS took him from us too soon, but it never took his spirit.  Even in the face of this cruel disease, he met each day with dignity, humor, and incredible strength.  His example continues to inspire us.

 

This walk is our way of honoring his life and continuing the fight against ALS.  Every step we take is for him- and for the countless others still battling ALS.  The donations we raise will go directly to ALS United CT, whose support was a lifeline during his illness.  Their care and compassion made a world of difference, and we want to ensure others facing ALS receive the same help and hope.
