Three years have passed since Edouard left us, yet not a day goes by that we don't feel his presence in our hearts. ALS took him away from us physically, but it could never take away his love, his spirit and his strength he left behind.

Edouard was a true family man. He adored Sabine and loved Patrick, Julian, and Catherine beyond words. He was always their biggest cheerleader and enjoyed spending time with them above all else. Edouard and Sabine shared a love of traveling and discovering the world and took their children on many trips. Summer vacations were frequently spent in Europe with their extended families from Switzerland and Germany. Two of Edouard?s favorite places to visit were Paris and Lake Geneva, which always transported him back to fond childhood memories. Edouard's kind and gentle soul touched the lives of many, and he is truly missed by his family and friends.

Thank you for helping us reach our Walk ALS fundraising goal! Walk ALS raises funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.

That's why we are walking. To change the statistics. To bring help and hope to those living with the disease. To ensure that no one ever hears the words: You Have ALS again.

The past few years have brought incredible advancements in ALS research, expanded access to care for people living with ALS, and enabled legislation that impacts the quality of life of people with ALS and their families.

But, we can't stop now. The key to a cure begins with you.

Please consider sponsoring our team. With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease.
