Welcome to My Personal Page
5 years ago my dad, Jeffrey Arthur Corbett, passed away from ALS. Since his diagnosis, he was determined to make a lasting impact on the future of ALS research, treatment and care. His brother Peter Corbett took it upon himself to be a leader in the fight against ALS, serving as the Chair of the Board for the ALSA CT Chapter. Peter was instrumental in allowing our local chapter to work independently from the national association, which allows more funding to go directly to the people that need it most in our local community. Peter battled cancer with vigor and passed earlier this year. This year will be an extra special walk for our family, please support an important cause if you are able!
Love,
Jimmy

The ALS United CT Care Services Team works directly with patients and their families to create a plan to address the physical, emotional and financial challenges of living with ALS, including identifying resources for needs such as home safety and home modification assessments. ALS United CT is committed to enhancing those living with ALS quality of life through the many cost free programs. We understand the value of those with the disease being able to communicate, function safely in their home, and travel to ALS Clinics for comprehensive evaluation and treatment. Our programs are designed to meet these essential care needs as well as the emotional needs of those in our community and caregivers.
