Tom's Garden of Hope
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. My name is Lori DeFelice and my family and I are participating walking to raise funds that will support individuals and families affected by ALS. We are walking in memory of my brother Tommy, who courageously fought this horrific disease with grace and hope for over 25 years.
Watching Tommy’s battle as a sister and also as one of his caregivers, I can tell you that this disease needs a village to find a cure and also help those affected and their families. I hope you will walk beside myself and our family in honor of Tommy, either in person on Saturday, October 18th or through donation.
Tommy’s outlook was always hope. He demonstrated hope through his artwork and his writings. In Tommy’s words, “have a pocket full of hope”.
The Connecticut chapter of ALS United played a huge role in the care Tommy was able to receive. They walked beside us on this journey, and now we want to give back. Being a part of ALS United Connecticut's Walk ALS is the number one way to unite and fundraise for those living with ALS.
Please consider supporting my efforts by donating through my fundraising page.
Your donation today will help fund resources and services to the local ALS community, help find new ALS treatments, and move us closer to a world without the disease.
Please feel free to send this page to any friend or family member who might be interested in donating!
Thank you!
